First Holy Communion

The first reception of the Sacrament of Eucharist is normally celebrated in the spring of a child’s 2nd grade year. All 2nd grade children need to be enrolled in either Holy Family School or Our Lady of Guadalupe School of Religion Education Program and must have a baptism certificate on file with either Holy Family School or the OLG School of Religion Office. All parents of children preparing to receive this sacrament are required to attend two Parent Preparation Sessions.

Anyone who contacts us after October of the 2nd grade year or later will need to attend the RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children).
